Meet the Staff

Cathy Stidd (Business Administrator)

Cathy is the office manager and treatment planning coordinator. She is responsible for presenting financial options and payment plans to our patients.
Cathy graduated from Mitchell High School and is married to Glen.  They live in Greene County where Glen is a pastor.  They have two sons, Josh and Eli, and a beagle named Lucky.

She has over 20 years of office administrative experience and enjoys forming friendships with our patients.

Cathy enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.

Cindy McHaley (Hygiene & Study Club Coordinator)

Cindy has been with our office since July 2001. Her primary responsibilities include the coordination and scheduling of our periodontal maintenance patients, as well as organizing all of our continuing education meetings throughout the year for the Hoosiers for Dental Excellence Study Club.

Cindy and her husband, Al, have two children, Rex and Liz. The family resides in Bloomington and shares their home with five pets, Oscar, Milo, Tiger, Daisy and Lily.

Sandy Smith (New Patient Coordinator)

Sandy is the smiling face that will greet you when you enter the office.  She handles our new patient calls and organization of our incoming referrals.
She was born in Bloomington and has lived here her entire life.  She has worked in an office environment at IU for the past 24 years.  She married her high school sweetheart, Mike, who is a letter carrier.  They have two daughters and three grandchildren. 

Sandy enjoys reading, traveling, and especially her “Grammy” time!

Beth Reed (Surgical Dental Assistant)

Beth has over 34 years of dental experience in which she has knowledge of both the business and clinical aspects of dentistry.  She has worked with Dr. Sutor for over 12 years.  Beth is x-ray and CPR certified and is a valuable asset to our practice.

Beth, a native of Bloomington, is married (Jeff) and has two daughters, Kim & Robyn, and 3 grandchildren.
She is a 2004 breast cancer survivor!

Her interests are reading and being active with her grandchildren.

Joanna Anderson (Surgical Dental Assistant & Public Relations)

Joanna has been with Dr. Sutor since 2001 as one of his surgical dental assistants. Her responsibilities include assisting in surgeries, performing any necessary expanded duties, coordination of implant cases with referring doctors, and office marketing projects. 

Joanna grew up in Indianapolis, but she moved to Bloomington with her husband Paul in 2000.

Joanna and Paul have a son Logan who is 2.  Her interests include scrapbooking, shopping, and spending time with her son.

Chris Beason (Surgical Dental Assistant)

Chris is born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana.  She moved to Bloomington and started working with Dr. Sutor’s office in 2006.  Chris was certified in dental assisting at Ivy Tech Lafayette in 1999.  Her responsibilities include assisting Dr. Sutor in surgery as well as taking any necessary x-rays and collecting patient information.   She is married to Scott and has a son Cooper, who is 4. 

Pam Henderson (Clinical Hygienist)

Pam is originally from South Bend where she graduated from J.W. Riley. She earned her degree in dental hygiene from IU-Fort Wayne. She lives in Bedford and has one son (Matthew) who is attending Indiana University.

Pam is our other hygienist who does an excellent job helping our patients maintain and maximize their oral health.  She has been with Dr. Sutor since 2000.  Pam is a superb teacher and is very concerned about each of her patient's general and dental well being.

Georgiann Grothouse (Clinical Hygienist)

Georgiann graduated in 1984 from the University of Southern Indiana’s Dental Hygiene program in Evansville.  She received her undergraduate degree in Retailing & Public Relations from Purdue in 1977.

Her clinical responsibilities involve helping our patients maintain their periodontal health by providing excellent hygiene and education which assists our patients in achieving maximum oral health. She has been practicing dental hygiene since 1984, and has been with Dr. Sutor since 2000.

"George" as she likes to be called by friends and patients, lives in Jasper. She has two children, Nick & Leslie. Working full time and keeping up with teenagers helps to keep her happy and feeling young!
