Dr. Mark Sutor, Bloomington Periodontist

Dr. Sutor has been in private practice in Bloomington since August 1991. He is a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, and the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, where he received his Masters in Dentistry specializing in Periodontics. His general practice residency included working at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

He maintains an ongoing commitment to continuing education. Dr. Sutor is the founder and president of Hoosiers For Dental Excellence, a local dental study club, which meets monthly to discuss current topics in dentistry. It is an advanced study club group consisting of over 25 members throughout south central Indiana. He is also the organizer of Public Dental Implants Symposiums which are provided free of charge to the general public. It is a time for people to have their questions answered about how dental implants can improve their lives. His past experience also includes being a clinical instructor at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.

As a participant, Dr. Sutor attends several technical seminars annually. He is committed to providing the latest in periodontal treatment techniques and dental implant surgery to all his patients.

Dr. Sutor is a graduate of Indiana University, where he lettered in varsity football all four years. He is a native of Hickory Hills, Illinois, married and has two children.
